Oh, and the most ingenious looking beam breaker I have found so far was a very well designed centered right below the bumper tow hook...Dual purpose as it could actually also be used to tow or winch the car (though the owner and driver said when questioned it's number
1 purpose was beam breaking at the top
end), we both had a laugh as he had to
re-strengthen it to use it to winch the car
with it about a year after the initial install.
Every car's front ends are different front bumper to leading edge of front tire as is tire circumference, front axle setback, etc. And the starting line beams are 3" off the ground but finish line beams are 6" off the ground. Some break the beams with the front end, some headers, some oil pan, some tires. Others front end parts (Steering gear and A-Arms)...brackets, cords or hoses hung just right also work. Not for me, but for others I have noted.
When you look for them you will find many, talk to those that have them as it is a fun topic.
