Default Old Moroso in trouble with contractors

As a racer in south Florida, I'm hoping that this issue with the contractors gets cleared up without the track going under. The new PBIR is the best track I've ever raced down. Here is the link from the Palm Beach Post.

If there is an AIA Prime Contract as the Contractor stated there is, the Developer needs to pay...Just because the market has had a downturn and the market rates have plummeted since the time of Contract execution, that's just tough.. Win some, lose some..If the market had done the opposite, which it will eventually, do you think the Developer would exclaim that the Contractor deserves MORE money as a result?..I don't think so. My Company is in this very situation presently, and The Developers and Owner Reps are abusing the current situation in the industry by holding a gun to our heads to settle just to get paid "something", arguing about agrred upon terms and conditions that were signed earlier in 2008. Makes me want to **** someone in the mouth when I read this ****.

wow, talk about crooked. I understand that the market has changed but the time to renegotiate is BEFORE the work is done

Trump and his band of thieves can take their "Torturous Interference" clause, and stick deep in the moist. I know one of the Contractors, and they are being threatened..This sucks.

The owners of RBIR had the $$$$$ to put their BIG logo on a Top Fuel racecar last year but can't pay contractors ????? I think it was on Hillary Will's car..........
