Default Getting a car accepted into the class guide

So I asked about this on another thread, but i want to post one in here where more people will see it.

I am looking at two different combos that are not on the class guide right now.

I was wondering if anyone has some sort of idea of who to contact within the manufacturers to get the specs submitted to NHRA.

The two cars I am looking at are the '89 to '93 Ford Probe GT Turbo and the '90 to '94 Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser Turbo AWD.

So I need to find contacts for Ford and Chrysler.

Anyone?

Can All wheel drive cars run slicks on All 4 wheels ? Got to be alittle tricky in the burn out box ? There are tracks that you can not drive around the water area / box .

I did this a couple of years ago with the L99. Start by contacting the NHRA Tech. Dept. They were very helpfull in putting me in touch with the right person at GM.

Just in case you missed it, the blueprint specs for the Eagle Talon/ Plymouth Laser are listed under Chrysler. It has a the 2.0 Mitsubishi engine. (4G63T Engine)

I have found a car (errr... minivan). But I am inerested in the probe combo so I will keep trying to get in touch with someone at ford.

I spoke to a girl at the tech dept. this morning and she didn't know who to talk to. I e-mailed all of the rules committee members, hoping to get some better direction so we will see what happens.

I also spoke with someone at ford racing who was going to e-mail on my request to their NHRA "person".

In the meantime... if anyone knows who at ford i need to get in touch with (Tim Kish do you have any idea???) let me know!!!
