Default Alternator Mounting ??

Hey guys, im trying to mount an alternator on a 69 camaro w/ a small block. I would love to mount this low as to clean up the top of the engine. Im using a cs series delphi alt. And the low mount brackets i have do not allow frame clearance on driver or pass side. Im sure ive seen this done but cant come up with what brackets will work. The ultra mini alts dont really give more clearance because of the depth around 5 inch... anyone have a clue ?? thanks !! Roger

I use the low mount on my Nova (same frame) I had to make a couple of spacers and move the bracket out about 3/4 inch. I also reclocked the alternator to help clear the charging stud.

Check the Powermaster web site. This should help you out.

Roger try Alan Grove.

Mid mount #235R might work.

Here it is with a CS130, you can modify the wp tubes for different type pumps.

I used a nice billet street rod piece from Jegs to mount a stock alternator.
