Default stock super stock association for division 4 racers

wondering who would all be interested in a stock/super stock association down here in division 4. in my opinion i think it would be a wonderful time for all of us. these are the tracks that i think that would maybe go for it. dallas raceway(crandall), redriver raceway, texas motorplex(ennis)?, houston raceway, lufkin, rusk, if anyone knows any others let me know. if there are enough people interested then i think it would work. the only thing is if there is anyone willing to help get this started it would be greatly appreciated. i work at a fire department and is hard for me to do some things because of catching a call and having to leave in the middle of things. if you are interested email me here or at kevintscott44@yahoo.com or my cell phone is 214-926-3913

There are quite a few tracks here around the DFW area that run special programs on Friday and Saturday nights. There are: Texas Motorplex (Ennis), Texas Raceway (Kennedale), Redline Raceway (Caddo Mills), Dallas Raceway (Crandall). Then there is Rusk, Houston, San Antonio, and Abilene just to name a few here in Texas. Then ofcourse the major tracks that we go to the divisionals and nationals.

Kevin, I assume you counted the number of stockers in southern LA and then add superstockers. The two of us would participate.

I would be interested in a S/SS Assoc. I would even be interested in helping get it kicked off. By the way, Red River is closed.. Word around here is the 2009 Div 4 race will go to Rusk, where Ken & Molly are. We(S/SS) might be able to piggy back on the Outlaw Altereds until it can stand on it's own. (We have to prove to track owners we are a draw for their gate) We need to Contact Bobby Marriott. He has a JR Fuel Front engine dragster association that runs at many of his races. He is Mr. Outlaw Fuel Altered & has had quite a bit of success with his circuit. The Super Stockers/Stockers would be a better draw for track owners just because of available car count. There usually is about 8 to 10 N/Dragsters. I'm relatively sure we could top that car count w/ Stock/Super Stock. It would make for some exciting runs between Fuel Altered runs. Might even steal the show! :~) Would make a great fill in series for us as the 2009 Div 4 schedule is spread out & non existant until the last of March. Then very slim in the summer months. Let's go anyone have any other ideas?

anyone else interested in getting something started. i know that the track in abilene has one, but however was trying to see about something more centrally located for guys in louisiana, arkansa, oklahoma, and mississippi. was thinking maybe either the new track going up in crandall if the owner is up to it or even no problem raceway. i think that the owner of that new track would be up for it because of being brand new and all. was thinking of starting with a one day race and see what happens. but would need to know how many guys are serious about this.

I know that i am a rookie and all but i think if we could get this thing rolling i think it would be a blast. like i said with me working at the fire station and all it is hard to do without any help. When I get a call, I have to stop what i am doing and respond to a emergency. but again i am willing to do what it takes to get this started, but would need to know how many guys are serious about doing this. If anyone has any other suggestions about tracks to have it at or payouts, or sponsors or any other ideas dont hesitate to email or call me. my email is kevintscott44@yahoo.com and my cell is 214-926-3913. My cell is the best way to get ahold of me.
