I followed Beard's advice to the tee @ IHRA Pro-am skyview and did a righteous burnout that lasted from the box just about to starting line.......Quite fun, made me fell like a teenager, ended up a bit sideways at the line.....no matter, truck that could hooked hard and ran ok............then I got the bad news at the time slip shack......something fell off my truck at the starting line..........ohh thats not good and they wanted to see me.......ooooh
In the line to get weighed I did the visual.......fluids coming down(nope) check, lugnuts all accounted for, check, cal track and rear spring hardware and pieces check, header bolts and extentions check...... I saved the most damning for last......that hollow weight bar that conceals my 250 shot nitrous bottle and warmer for those pesky heads up NHRA runs......Check.... Hey, where's the on/off emergency switch? MIA and at the starting line! Eric
