Can anyone help educate me and others I am sure on CIC:
For the d-1 opens; CIC will be based on current NHRA CIC policy -- .510 under your index will adjust your index for the next round. For Example, Racer X runs 9.000 on a 10.000 index; Index for round 2 will be 9.49 (10.00 - .510 = 9.49). It is the racer’s responsibility to know what his and his opponent’s index should be for all rounds of eliminations. In a situation where both vehicles are in the same class, the race will be conducted on a heads-up basis. So as long as you don't run .510 under your index stays the same from round to round assuming you win the race to the stripe of course. So in theory the 1.5 under the index cars should be able to win these races. With no AHFS for opens it could be quite fun for some and a instant loss for others. Am I correct in my reading? Thanks Eric
