Thumbs up SS/AH cars in TOP/SS factor

As most understand SS/AH cars are treated more like Modified classes in their factoring. This is as recognized allowances have been made on the rules as they compete only against similar cars in class. NHRA actually has rules excluding them from competition outside their class for this reason.
They were not "factored" on the last two times their performance was above the standards of the true SS cars. They were adjusted by index each time for a total of .2 on their index.
In the future if they were to compete in TOP/SS they would require significant factoring of hp to add wt to adjust for this index adjustment.
A decision on this issue will be made and published here before Indy Open.
Thanks Dick Butler
