I had one prepared at Castillo's in La Mirada, and another done at Pettis Performance in Hesperia.

Rudy Castillo is my friend but he is really struggling
with his health and his brother retired with health issues.
I have been doing business with his exclusively for
30 years. However, it took him over a year this time and I just.
got my Stocker crankshaft and he put me at the front of the line!

He probably will not be able to work much longer.

I used Castillos for several 455 Buick cranks years ago-so sorry to hear he is strugging, they were great to work with!

It’s surprisingly difficult to take a standard OEM crank and stroke it plus .013” and index the crank pins 90* to each other. It becomes a very tight window to work in. I do not have any experience with the new LS, Hemi, or Ford crankshafts but the old stuff was pretty bad.
Who ever you get make sure they have a wet magnaflux that can do end shots and coil shots with a demagnetizing setting and a hand held meter to check to residual magnetism. I think I remember this correctly, the cracks will show up perpendicular to current flow. Don’t want to spend money on a cracked crank or have a crank that attracts iron particles.

We still use our crankshaft straightener press.

You might look at at these folks.

I had a Bryant crank repaired there at Bryant's suggestion and they were easy to work with.
