Published in the current National Dragster NHRA announced that starting in 2010 the rulebook will be published online for members only. If you wish to have a hard copy you will have to purchase the book.
It will not be part of your membership package. Real nice, eh!!! Jeff Ross |

IHRA tried that. It lasted one year.
I guess if everyone that comes to the races has a wireless laptop, that is OK. Lucky for me, I don't have to use a laptop for work, and I don't have a personal one either. One of the biggest enjoyments of going racing is that I don't have to work on a computer when I'm there.

You can just print it up at home, and carry around 286 one sided pages in your back pocket! It didn't work for IHRA, and I don't think it's going to work for NHRA, either.

I guess NHRA is not interested in new members coming alone either. My local speed shop use to display rulebooks on the counter to sell them. Now a guy or gal would have to jump into a membership just to figure out if he/she is crazy enough to do it or not.
![]() Of course the author could go into the html and make changes to the testament then your recollection of what it said may get foggy unless you had that hard copy. ![]() It's a terrible thing for the governing body not have rules in black and white for everyone. ![]() I applaud NHRA for the online advancements over the years, however I don't think this needs to happen. They should add it online but leave the hard copy. ![]() Ernie Neal SS3400 |

"Will they still have a WEST COAST and an EAST COAST version?" Why would that change unless our above sea level factors are increased

And of course NHRA will pass on the savings to us? Terrible idea in my opinion.
