Dunno why he was DQ'ed but I'll bet he was ticked at himself for giving Len King the stripe in the first round of class:
Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET---Speed-----Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT----ET---Speed 2749 Len King 3125 Joey Wilkes C1 ****WINNER**** 0.011 11.370 115.74 0.007 11.375 99.29 E/SA Index: 12.00 (+/-): -0.630 E/SA Index: 12.00 (+/-): -0.625 Qualified: #99 No Time #66 No Time Only 99 MPH, obviously on the brakes, and loses by 0.0015 sec. Why drive the stripe in class? Oh, yeah, protect that factor!!!

DQ?.....maybe for excessive braking on that class run? Another fine example of a car that is WWWWAAAAAYYY underfactored.

Wasn't there 1 qualifying pass and then into class? From the Summit site, it would appear that there was a dq after the time trial. Would guess something simple liek fuel or weight, as it appears that he as well as the M/SA car that show dq after qualifying pass went into class and the M/SA shows as a class winner. At leasat the schedule showed there was to be a qualifing pass and then into class?

Ed my Dad said if you can't say something good dont say nothing. For you information Regular gas is hard to get out of your fuel system.Evidently he got it out as he won 3 rounds and PASSED fuel check. Ck with some other racers as to how hard it is to clean your fuel system after you put pump gas in it.. Thanks Irv
