Dave Boertman
1969 Chevrolet Biscayne,,,,,,,350/255 HP Dave, knew how to pick the 'right car for the right class' better than any other Junior Stocker. The 'yellow' 69' Biscyane {#3600 lbs.} classed in N/SA in 1970. ![]() Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 03-22-2013 at 07:27 AM. |

O/SA Sonny Freeman......nice to see him on there. That would be the
Hydrophobia wagon. I think 1971 was when he got the Pink Panther. Some of you East coast guys will remember that 1. I have a good bit of info on that car.... |

My dad was the wrench on the car.Sonny drove. When they got it from Tom,The car had a steel nose on it.When Tom was racing it he ran C/sa in the car.Sonny & my dad put it in SS/EA. They got the car into the 11 teens pretty easy on a 7" slick. They set the record @ colonial beach with the car @ 11.11.As the rules changed I believe around 72 they could run a 10" tire Petty engineering heads & also went to 4.56's the car went a 10.86 right off the trailer.I have tons of info on the car as I was in search of it about 2 years ago trying to locate it to buy it back to give to my dad.Last I heard a doctor has the car in New Jersey.Called him a few times & never got a response.I would love to have a chance to get it but it just does not seem like it is in the cards.Anyway any other info you would like message me.
