Any recommendation for ignition wires. Using an MSD 6 AL plugged to a MSD billet distributor w/ HEI hat. The more you read, the more confusing it is. Thanks in advance.------John

Well , I guess I am on the right track as those two sets of wires are my picks so far. Anybody have any experience with the Granatelli wires ? Read an article on them. Almost to good to be true----of course ! Read some comments on an ignition wire -------not so good . I guess the basis of comparison is
ohms per foot. |

Like all race car parts, your experience with other racers favorite parts may vary .
Keeping that in mind , I've had excellent results with the Moroso 40's . Treat them well , keep them clean and away from the headers ,and they will last several years. I had old Moroso 80 ohm wires on my car for at least five years with no problems and only replaced them when I was chasing an ignition box problem. Spend the money on the sleeves, well worth it.

Had Accel 8.8 wires on my car for the first 2 years then installed my data acquisition system and had all kinds of noise issues on the rpm channels. I called Computech and they suggested MSD 8.5 wires and sure enough the problem went away. Cut to fit is the only way to go for a clean look.

I've been using Accel 8.8 300+ race wires on my car for many year to compliment the Mallory Hy-Fire 6AL ignition box, coil & billet distributor. I buy the cut-to-fit wires to minimize any excess length and route them in a convenient path. Wires are changed every several years as preventive maintenance. They never gave me a problem. Only had a minor distributor wire connector problem once with the rest of it. Otherwise, its pretty much been install & forget!
