Is this a 69 or 70? It matters on the 2 Barrel combo - which is a good combo.
Gear as tight as you can unless your driving it in - then 4.11 is about max on the freeway.

You may want to check with IHRA on your cam specs. You may be pleasantly surprised by the duration numbers. I would also get the valve spring pressure from them as this was my limiting factor when I ran Pure Stock. When you get these figures, it will be easier to choose a convertor and gearing.
Good Luck,
Joe

I'm putting new 'shoes' on the car at Rockingham. Might not be a lot left on them, but you can try my 9x29.5 M/T radials then. Radials must certainly be the ticket for a Pure Stocker!

furr980,
Join this group, http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group...OCKdragracing/. You'll get plenty of help from these guys. The 29.5 Mickey T radials were a .10 faster on my Pure Stocker in a back to back.
Later, Joe
