Racers,
Under construction is my 1990 Firebird, manual shift, tunnel ram, small block combination. Ideas/options are needed for the hood & scoop. The plan is for a forward facing scoop, as low as possible yet give sufficient room over the carbs. One valid consideration is to have the scoop mounted on the carbs, then slide a flat hood around the scoop. [like a Comp or Pro Stock set up] It will be a big help if some pics can be posted. Let me know what you have. Please send a PM for my email if you want to email pics. Thanks

If this is to be a SS car, hoodscoop must be part of hood, I believe this is also the case in most comp classes. Go to autoimagery and put in super stock you can see alot of different scoop combos there. Joe

no class rules, this is an association of stick racers built along the lines of Modified or Comp class cars. I am fully aware of the the web site photos but that is not enough detail.
My hope is to find a few specific examples with detail photos
