The 69 427/335 differs from the 385/390 horse unit by its cam. It uses the 396/325 horse cam, while the 385/390 engine uses the 396/350 horse unit. The difference is the lift. The 335/427 might just develop more cylinder pressure at the right place for some unreal torque.I would like to see one get built!
