Question Re: considering class a rv for towing

i've purchased a 1990 allegro 28-29ft with a 454efi and turbo 400 trans. i am planning to use it to tow a 28ft trailer.it already has a receiver but i'm sure i will probably need to brace it up some. any additional comments would be great thanks jason

Are there any common problems with the fuel injected 460. I just bought an 88 E350 cube van for towing my open trailer. How bad are these on mileage. The guy said he could get 7-8 mpg towing ride and game trailers used in carnivals and fairs and a little over 10 when not towing, I'll believe that when I see it, Paul.

Paul, I havent heard of anybody experiancing head problems with the EFI 460's.....7to 9 mpg with a 10k# trailer........Trans needs the biggest aux cooler you can find ,since it will be out of lock up most of the time. ...Be sure to run the aux. cooler after the original cooler.....Tom
