I was told 2500 pickup is recreational class. 3500 is considered work/commercial.

Mike,
You've got to be with the wrong insurance company. You know I have towed with a dually for over 20 years and have never had an issue with my insurance. Check with Auto Owners.

We have this problem under control now. Apparently some insurance co's have different weight limits before having to move into commercial ins. We are w/ Grange, and will be probably be changing to Auto Owners. Thanks all for your help and suggestions.
