Hey Sean, Thanks a lot. Guess you can tell I'm having a little fun with you Chevy guys but we need more cars in the class.I've gone to Indy many times only to make a single for class. If it takes sturring the pot a little to get some cars at the track hey I'm game.

Jeff, there's nothing wrong with having a little fun and competition, that's what class racing is all about and this is why we are making the conversion and looking forward to next season.

Sean.

The car looks great, JC. If anyone is interested in 1:18 diecast cars, I see that they're in the process of bringing out Grumpy's 2 different "66 Chevy IIs sometime this fall, plus the '73 Vega. This newer version of the red/white '66 is supposed to be a more accurate rendition than the one introduced years ago, since the manufacturing process is much better nowadays. You can check it out on www.supercar1.com

Actually, to be correct, the Vega is the '72 car with the red '73 paint scheme.

[QUOTE=JCChildress;289135]I saw the blue car that Wisecarver built, but its way outta my price range. I used to work for Wisecarver so hopefully I can do a lot of the welding myself at Gary's. Gary and Joann are like family to me.

I agree about the $ of it. I was thinking about the car rolling? Just a thought, the only thing I question is the clutch pedal going through the floor? I don't think that is legal is it? It does look great!! I hope you get it finished soon.

The clutch coming from the floor is legal only if youre running Super Stock modified. That is a sweet deal and would make someone a really nice car though.

I can help your car with a great front end tie rod set up!
