So if and when Cheby builds them, will they have to build 100 total cars?
50 for Stock 50 for Super Stock since the one engine is fo SS/S only? Or will NHRA look the other way for Marketing $$$$$$$$? |

If, when, maybe, could be, should......whatever.
Just build the damn thing and put your car where your mouth is chebby! The GM fanboys are slobbering all over themselves. "I heard it will be 900hp and rated at 200...no, no, I heard 1000hp and rated at 100" Talk is cheap. Talk with pictures is still talk until one is in somebody's hands. Since obama motors builds stuff by committee (kinda like a camel is a horse made by a committee) it's no wonder it was built with coils in the rear. Now somebody will go "whaaaat, NO rear coils??" Question is, will it be modified or will nhra bow to them with the $$$? At least they're trying I guess. |

I have been using the original LS7 in the 68 camaro for bracket racing for the last year or so. The engine is carbed, all else stock except for a .640 lift hydralic cam. To give you an example of performance, the engine dynoed at 670 hp at 6800 rpm. Car runs 6.0's at 112 in 1/8 mile in good air. One of the biggest factors is that the all aluminum engine takes a lot of weight off the front end of the car..

Every new Camaro built has coil-over rear shocks.

Gump, That rear end assembly does not look anything like the rear end in the COPO. Tom
