NHRA, would have to change the rules for the COPO to run stock, according to stock rules no coil-over shock`s on rear. Tom

The 5.3l SS engine is built the Iron LSX block to handle all the boost that 4.0l supercharger will be making at 10k!

Every new Camaro built has coil-over rear shocks.

Gump, That rear end assembly does not look anything like the rear end in the COPO. Tom

If the production car comes with coil overs, the COPO should be allowed them, right?
Doesn't really matter to me. I would have to dip into my retirement money to buy one.

All it has to have are the stock spring and shock mount locations, as per the rules!

Didn't you all go through this with the Drag Pak and Cobra Jet Cars?

What's your point? I was answering your statement about coil-overs. The car came with a coil-over so a coil-over is legal.
