Does anyone have Seat Belt harness going out of certification date to sell?
I think they can be used on my Pure Stocker.. Is this true? Dan |

I have some, but I don't know if they can be used in pure stock if the dates are out.Let me know if you want them, I would sell them reasonable.

According to the nhra rule book if the class you are in does not require the aftermarket belts the recertification date is not needed. Of course your local track could over rule that.

Never understood the Seat Belt Certification Rule. Heard the out of date ones are sold to NASCAR racers that do not have the Cert Rule. Very Strange .. D |

I agree. I think if they are in your car, they have to be up to date.

You do realize you could have a car approaching 115 mph that could be slower then the 11.49 cutoff? Don't you think you should have better protection then a two inch lap belt?

Do not think the G/PS 95 ImpalaSS car will do that on its best day. Rules do not even require a roll bar. But you are correct about safety and trying to find out what is best. Dan |

I ran a car in P/SA at an NHRA Divisional race last year with an expired set of belts. I was told that they did not even look at them if they were not needed for the class. If I were running a slow car on a consistent basis I would definately have a set.
I have a set of RJS camlock belts that I took out this past weekend. Expiration date 5/12. Send me an email if you are interested. I will give you a good deal on them. aarontallison@gmail.com
