I didnt get who tried to drive that car, was it the owner ? just want to make sure I never see him in the lane next to me. He made to many mistakes, probably before he even staged, I wont go into detail but most pro drivers saw what happened

Carey , I've run Rons stuff for years , but not on this car as the front wheels have always stayed on the ground . The damage was to the engine , oil pan was pushed into pick up and spun a bearing .
Even if I had Ron's shocks on the car the setting would not have been correct . On my other CJ we run with the front shocks all the way lose as the front wheel stay on the ground with it as well . The change to the front bushing is a major enchancement by Ford , I did not know just how much better it was the stock , but I do now

The wheelstand of Ralph Porpora's A/S Camaro was quite similiar as far as how fast and high the front end popped up.

Curious...what's this bushing all about? Where is it and why is the new one so much better?
I've got the Cal-Track wheelie bar going on my car. 97" WB cars like mine are prone to poppin' the wheels up pretty easy. I also invested in the AFCO's w/ BNC valving and altered the valving for stiffer rebound from what I ran before. It doesn't look like too many of these new super cars run wheelie bars. I know a 2-speed auto will kill a lot of bottom end but a big SC on top of an engine will certainly give back a ton of bottom end! Just because you spend $100K on a factory turn-key race car doesn't mean you shouldn't consider a revision or two.

The way the '13 comes from Ford the button he holds is the line lock and the 2 step is on the brake.

Here is a link to the new bushing kit . Dont know what they are made of but they really losen up the front end on the new CJ and old one's as well . Depending on where you get them they run between $580 - $700. Worth the money

Thanks Bo! I suspected it was that one, but since it didn't say CJ anywhere on the page I wanted to be sure.
