Keep up the good work!
Does this mean your going to run it all out and get that thing some HP? I hope so. It will stop the people from being sooo mean to you about your car. You obviously have a problem with that or you wouldn't have created this topic. It is a good start to let me know that I'm your racing Hero and the highlight of your racing career is beating me 1 time. Thanks man, I really apreciate that. One day when you make it past the 3rd round, I'll be pullin for you.

I do believe you are sadly mistaken!
I did say they were bogus ratings. But the Chevy's SC version with the same Cubic inches as ford is 100 hp more. The NA with the same cubic inches is 50 more than Ford. Chrysler’s 360-275 hp is amazingly bogus. How long will it take serious sandbaggers to get 50-100 hp? Maybe Chevy recognized what Joseph is pointing out and I helped him realize. The rest of the community doesn't appreciate it, and some are speaking out in a negative way towards the new cars. Nobody would be mad at someone on food stamps, if they weren't so blatantly taking advantage of the system. But hey, it’s just my opinion and I probably don't know everything.

Believe it or not, I’m trying to help the new cars image. I love them. I just had to relate it to something in real life that has a very negative reputation. If you reread the entire topic, plenty of others have made reference to what I’m saying and some others didn’t get it. Ratcliff, Carr, Wright, Carter, Carpenter, Cutta, Schaechter, Hoven, A. Hill, Worner….. well, pretty much everyone who posted in this topic made reference to the extremely low hp rating and people protecting it by running on 2 barrels as being the problem with the new cars. Do what you got to do, I’ll dodge the new cars as best as I can in heads up, and try to get them hp if I do run them. That’s all I can do and I’m ok with that. Nobody is saying anything different besides the extremely low hp ratings and people protecting them. It’s up to you to change that. We don’t have new cars. Go out there and run 1.40 under and earn your free bye run, instead of adjusting the % on the throttle to run .99 under and keep stealing them, race after race for what looks like years to come. I promise your name will be praised on this forum by many of its members and the respect of the community is worth way more than a few bye runs in my book.

I'm serious. If I'm out of the race, I will be on the starting line in your corner. I want you to win at some point. Maybe then you will realize you don't need such an extreme advantage to win. You can do it legitimately.

i feel your pain. the first time i got beat by a old car in a long time was in houston by speedy emmons and that is ok.but if NHRA would have left the fuelinfected cars in there own class everybody would be happy.i like the new cars. the sport needs these cars but don't make the old cars junk and worthless at the hands of the new cars in a heads up run.put them back in there own class.like IHRA has them and the way NHRA use to have them. i think that would be the fair way to do it.
