You guys are missing it, just like NHRA Today. In their coverage they cover the crew chiefs and anytime they switch, change and fire someone. You have too look a little harder, but people are moving around that work in Pro Stock and these personel changes take knowlege with them. If NHRA Today covered this in their coverage it might make more sense and more people would pay attention.

They aren't eliminating wealth, they are simply redistributing it. Hear that sucking sound from Glendora?

Why yes, ..HE CAN CUT A (consistent) LIGHT,(finally) and has 60 ft times that no one can produce that are better.

Besides he is MAN who has made his bones up the ranks, the right way..not a spoiled crackpot with a whiny big mouth.. AND that attracts financially sound sponsors.

As as far as WJ and KG ..have listened to their post run interviews the last year..even when they win (!)..Warren especially is coming across as a sour old man incapable of a positive comment.

You want your company's logo on his door ?

After sitting through 2 National Events this year I have noticed that NHRA does NOTHING to promote the PS class. All the announcer hype (when you can hear the PA) is directed at the fuel cars/drivers. As soon as the last pair of funnies goes down the track, the stands empty real quick.

In fact I noticed that even Top Dragster and Top Sportsman are more appealing to "Joe Spectator" than PS.

One side note, but a good one: At both races (Phoenix and Vegas) I heard many positive comments about the Super Stockers and Stockers. At Phoenix a V6 Firebird won SS and the "crowd went wild". They were cheering for him all day long. Also when Tueton's Hemi ran down a much slower car for a win, it was the loudest cheer from the seats outside of the fuel rounds. And yes, the older Detroit iron is much more popular than the new Challengers/Mustangs in the seats...

As good as he is with the engines, he is even better setting up a car. The work he did on my Sunfire is beyond words.

This is him working on my stuff.

With the **** TV coverage that ESPN gives to the Pro Stock glass how can you blame a sponsor for not wanting to put money into that class. I love Pro Stock and I hate to see where it is headed.
