Congrats to Randi Lyn for winning Stock and John D. for winning Super Stock!

Also good job Ryan Richardson and Leonard Mattingly!

Hey Leonard--I guess you changed your luck! Maybe 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream???

Did not get very many details. But I guess there was a mishap with a couple of cars in the pits. Is everyone OK?

From what I hear, a stocker ran into Don Higgins s/c dragster. The dragster was sitting by his trailer when the stocker ran into it driving the car into the trailer as well. Not sure how someone could run into a parked car sitting in a pit spot.

Here I will give you guys the facts. After the RD5 I grabbed my time ticket and made a left turn off the return road. As I was making the turn I moved over because a truck was coming down the road from the other way. A SC dragster was setting on the ramp of his trailer with the back 2-3 feet of the dragster setting in the road and I tagged the dragsters rear tire with my front fender.

I could see how that could happen, I had heard it was beside the trailer, which is why I questioned how it could happen.

Will post pics when I can... went from no internet at Norwalk to no internet at home this morning. Working off a slow MiFi connection for now and trying not to eat up bandwidth. Pretty good thunderstorm last night. Was told earliest AT&T tech would be late Thursday, but the missus is trying to get someone on the case earlier.

The trophy is in a walnut box and it is an engraved ice cream scoop made out of stainless steel (I think). It is really cool. Here are some close-ups:

This place is the best class act on the tour!

We hope everyone has an opportunity to win an ice cream scoop in their lifetime!
Where is the like button?

I posted a picture on Facebook of my comp car doing a wheelie at the Norwalk points race. Two of the track people are in the background in tuxes. One of my friends asked me why were they wearing tuxes and my response was that the Baders run a first class operation, as reflected by the tuxes.
