The subframe for my 69 Camaro stocker project need some work around the body mounts.
I picked up a pre made bracket kit. My question..... can I weld the plates to the top or do they need to be cut out and fitted. Im using Speedtech solid body mounts, was thinking of milling them down the thickness of the plates to keep everything the same height. |

I like putting the plate on top of the rusted bracket. In doing that I did pick up some carb to hood clearance.
