If you have a 360" DP, and are three tenths slower than me, on all four barrels, you are seriously doing something wrong! LOL
Since when is NOT spending money doing something wrong? I'm quite aware of the potential of these engines. I still have a pickup (219,000 miles) and an open trailer, too. I read on other threads people talking about $30,000 engines. You could build my entire car from scratch for that. It's not because it wouldn't be nice to have bigger, better, nicer things. I choose to be able to afford to race all year instead, and to invest in promoting an event for everyone else.

But yes, there's a number of things I've done wrong, on top of all that.

Too cold to hook up. Rubber would be like ice...slick, hard with these temps.

In those temps I'd probably hit the wall.

Don't you almost do that in optimum conditions? Just kiddin, your car is an absolute amazement to me....stopped by your trailer at the Gators but could tell you were in no mood for light conversation....saw later why that was. Would love to see you run 7.80's.

-3200 ft here this afternoon with a 29.96 barometer and 14 degrees. 0.955 correction factor. It would be fun to see how fast it would go!
