There is a rv dump at the rest area at 310 mm but you have to back up to get out!

We are here! Good signage coming in and there was a lady on the road telling us to go down 1/4 mile and turn left. So now we are stacked until 3 tomorrow according to the schedule . We haven’t seen anybody yet to ask!

That is some great work, the early Challenger is one of the best designs of all time! The new one captures the old profile, alas on a too chunky scale.

We are here at the sight of the first U. S. Nationals. It kinda gives you "goose bumps" knowing you're at the exact spot where the first racer tried to qualify in 1955! I sure wish I could find a copy of the protest letter against the 1955 COPO's, I'm sure only the names and dates have changed.

Track elevation 1884'. It could be fast if the tail wind is strong.

We are in stacking and should be parking about 3 this afternoon according to the schedule. It is raining lightly and a little cooler today. We are going out to Granny's for breakfast. It was recommended by someone here at the track. We tried a place in town for dinner last night that I wasn't crazy about, but it could be that I just ordered the wrong thing. The name of the restaurant was The Page.

I have a few more pictures from Indy and on the road yesterday that I will post a little later.
