Sante, All seven SRAC reps proposed this in meeting, having a non AHFS CLASS race like Indy on each coast. Gainesville,Indy,Las Vegas. I would love to see this happen!!!

Bob good idea but I would add a twist. C1 is a Q run so it needs to go in the average with all of the rewards and benefits afforded by the AHFS. After C1, Class is a race within a race, like the All Stars, the runs should not count for AHFS after C1. Only Q runs and E runs during eliminations should count. A heads up in elimination will count for AHFS, but not C2 and beyond in the race within a race.
With sportsman matching for C1 it could be some interesting wheel racing tip toeing to the finish line. Last edited by Larry Hill; 07-03-2024 at 08:39 AM. |

When moving quickly, elephants may switch from a pendulum-like gait to a bouncing gait, similar to a pogo stick, without leaving the ground. This fits the biomechanical definition of running. Elephants may also flex their limbs to move more smoothly. Hope this helps Larry. Paul H |

Earlier in the year they announced it was off. It would be anticlimactic to have it there with class. I'd withdraw the race and I live here. Many others would too. They've done enuf crowding S/SS into one day.
For those naysayers? If your not striving to win Class at Indy, your not a true S/SSer. With all due respect, either pay your dues in years like many of us have or goback to the bracket classes. Incidentally, as we say at McCarty Racing RamAirV.com, food and sex are highly overrated. 😎 |
