It will take .85X under to make the show of 128 cars so no one will be able protect their average.
If a racer is on the outside of 128 show up early to staging on elimination day you might just get to race as an alternate. Alternates will only get 10 points if the race but if you win you get all the money, contingency, and the big Wally. Last year there were some singles first round because some alternates did not go to staging lanes. |

The announcement was made some time ago. There will be no AHFS applied to the runs at Indy.

Is there a exempt list....No runs made during exempt events, National Opens, test and tune, time trials, 1/8th mile events or races within a race (i.e. Jegs Allstar eliminations, Stock / Super Stock Combos or other races that are not part of a season long points championship) are included in any review.
