Help Figuring GT Car Classification

I am considering either the 1964 comet 289/233HP combo with the Canfield Replacement Heads, or the 1968 Cougar 302/230HP with the same heads. This would be a stick car if I go forward. Where I am having trouble is figuring the weight as I am looking at putting this in a 1995-97 Ford Probe which of course never had the V-8. I do want to set it up for as lite as possible.
