Final thoughts -- First of all the NHRA sure pulled one over on us -- most of us racers said there was no way we could all get a time trial on Saturday and then finish eliminations completely including alcohol and top sportsman . Well they did it and did it well -- not to mention we were finished while it was still light out .Much as it hurts -- kudos boys and well deserved .

Secondly - the old guard is on the way out -- Mr.Fetch and company gave us all a lesson on how its done -- he is part of the young (up and here already) guns .

Sure has been fun gang --I'm sitting here on RT 40 in Maryland and my order is almost ready ( can't come home from a Southern race without Crabs) -- somehow that didn't come out right -- till next time...........

PS -Thanks Steve -- hope you don't think I just point out the bad stuff as I just call 'em like I see 'em -- or in this case hear 'em .
