I took Terry's post as saying that as more of the new cars are brought out, they will out-qualify more of the old combinations. So there will be less and less older cars that can even qualify for the limited NHRA fields. Being a good driver and being in the top 50 won't matter as much if you can't make the faster bump while the AHFS nibbles away at the new cars.
