I understand that was the point you were trying to make, but you threw in the term "True Stocker." That was what I was focusing on.
It is a matter of how one defines "True Stocker." I understand that the only opinion that carries weight is the NHRA. It is my opinion that a "True Stocker" would meet the emission standards and be licensed for the street at the time the combo was released. The spirit of Stock Eliminator.
Anything less than that would be a Super Stocker (ala '68 Hemi Cuda/Darts).
