You know, and this surprises me a bit...why don't some guys get some of the Drag Paks and CJ's and do some match racing? You know, get the cars to where the folks are...in the local areas where they don't have to drive 6 hours and spend $300 on NHRA tickets to see them. It would seem to me that there could be some pretty coin, and a lot of exposure in doing this.....or am I just still living in 1965??

We had worked on doing that with a race between Don Garlets and myself with me driving a friends 08 Cobra Jet during the Stock/Super stock race they just had in Orlando. We were lining up some sponsors for it and our intent was best 2 out of 3 with the money going to the winners charity. We weren't able to make it happen because of the health of Don's wife.We hope to be able to make it happen sometime later in the year.
