Default Thanks to Jim Schaechter, Charlie Downing

After breaking the main shaft in my Jerico on the 1st Q. pass last weekend at Belle Rose, Jim, who I had not met before, escorted me around to all the 4spd people who may have a shaft, but we came up dry. Charlie, whom I had not met either, looked at my trans and said it was identical to his spare and told me to put it in my car and go racing! Then as I was getting it under the car to install it, Jim and another racer whom I hate to say I forgot his name, that happens more since I hit mid 60's, and they helped me put it in the car, in fact Jim was working circles around me. We got done just in time for me to make the last session and it went flawlessly down the track. I wish I had made better use of all the labor instead of going red in the 1st rd. But we still had a great time all the locals and track personel so nice and the food was great! Last time I went there Jimmy Hidalgo bailed me out when an out of balance rear tire shook my hood latch loose near the finish line, not nice! But again the race family comes thru wouldn't it be awesome if everyone was like that! Thanks again guys! and happy Easter, lets not forget what He did for us!!
