Yes, the AA/SA weight break is 7.50 - 7.99 lbs/hp; the A/SA weight break is 8.00 - 8.49 lbs/hp. Assuming that he was running at the class minimum weight in A/SA, he can remove .50lbs/hp which=212.50 lbs (.50 x 425hp).

These cars on kill will run 9.20's possibly teens all day long with a pulley change and some tuning. Next topic.

Word is: last qualifier 109.80 mph @ I/8. The person who ran with this car was walking around the track and showing the ticket to anyone who wanted to look. He also checked the weight and said the car was 170 pounds heavy. This stuff isn't going away.

I think that the first step in this whole deal would be to get some kind of rules clarification from the NHRA in regards to allowable changes to turbos and superchargers. I was under the impression that they have to be unmodified OEM. Maybe Travis could write something in regards to what they do check?
