10.50 @ 100 10.37 @ 113 10.34 @ 117 10.28 @ 109 10.99 @ 99 (C/SA that was .016 to .038on the tree and let his opponet go) Yeah they are were at a big disadvantage in B/SA alright, they need to be factored as well so you guys crying about the cobra jets need to quit complaining, several top runners were scrubbing off speed/et were they could to stay away from the HP gods. Man you guys kill me, if they factor the CJ's over the winter they damn well better hit that 396 combo as well. This post is a fail because it fails to look across the board at all combos, there are several examples in all classes where the competitors were sandbagging. Come on guys don't single one combo out here when several are doing the same thing. |

Anyone got the incremental times for that A/SA Cobra Jet on the 9.92 run?
Were talking about a car that is what a year old. People are just starting to find out what these cars want. As far as the 396 stuff, Well your looking at the two best Camaro's out there. That combo is milked out now. |

Clutch man and Kenny. If you think that 124 mph is out the back door for a 10.23 run you have got to be kidding!!!!!! When Defrank goes 10.29 at 109 that tells me it was one of those 1000' races. Now please don't think I am complaining. The reward for spending alot of time and money on your car is to be factored! I still think that drag racing started off as a performance base sport. My only problem is that you guy's think that only the new CJ's have anything left in them. By the way I have a B&C/Sa Mustang that has to race Jim Boudrea up here in Div. 1. Think he is a class act and he makes me work harder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, I think you have overlooked Gary Richard's. Very fast car!!!

Speeds were bogus I'll say that. Everyone was playing games. Defrank should have gone a 10.18 or so. Richards is really fast I know. What I was saying is that the new C-Jets are Killer and MUCH FASTER than people know. Look for the A/SA C-Jets to run in the 9.70's |

Question: How does a AA/SA CJ go .35 faster than an A/SA CJ, when it's only, at the most, 200 and some odd lbs lighter?

100# is a tenth does not always apply, especially to little boosted motors.
