If you want to try the 2 valve 4.6 modular go with a 99 and newer model Mustang the heads make alot more power than the 96-98 versions. Div 3 does have one 2 valve mustang stocker in competition but it's a PI Headed combo.

Hey Evan how you doing,
I know your are the mustang expert. I'm new to modular engines too and I'm trying to build a 2003 mustang mach-1 engine for stock eliminator with stick, do you think that this will be a good combo for stock class? thanks in advance for your help.... Edgar |

Check out the qualifying @ Beech Bend Division 3 LODRS
54 3832 O/SA Dave Goins, Plymouth MI, '98 Mustang 12.577 13.45 -0.873 This is a good looking and good running car I belive this is the same combination you are looking at ,and the 99 & up cars are much faster I think they are a natural I/S Hope this helps, Kenny |

That engine has a lot of potential. It's rated a little on the high side, but i think it will go ok. Evan
