Don't forget the early 1969 production runs had the NASCAR based block and heads o-ring set up and the later ones and the '70's had the street engine o-rings which were reversed between the heads and the blocks on the T and S versions. Two guys here and them, one a Wimbledon (?) White with the track motor and the other a later Jade Green with the Street one. If memory serves me correctly the crank and rods were different as well when they rebuilt them.

The crank was the same between the two motors. There was the S rod motor a very heavy beefy rod, but shorter that the standard 429/460 rod. There was also two styles of boss head; the full hemi chamber (for superspeedways) and the squished chamber.( for the short tracks).
BTW -The 1971 police motor was a 429 CJ.
