Wade, let me give u my 2 cents as i have run a oil company for the last 15 yrs and have
extensive lube tech background, what you have going on is additive precipitation, it happens after running and especially in drag cars because of the hot cold cycling. Additives are stable at room temp but when subjectided to our radical temp swings will fall out of suspention. Break in lube is the worst for this as its heavily fortified with all the good anti wear extreme pressure additives but they do settle out as they are only semi-soluble.. Besides that i have a idea or two that will help break-in and all out performance. P.M. me and we can discuss it...
