Anybody know what this car sold for;
or clue me in how to check on the sold price... as of yet I don't see any results listed on their site? All of the glass, lenses, grille, trim and chrome are in show condition. This car also features rare one piece front and rear bumpers. Under the hood lurks an upgraded 283/270 hp dual quad engine equipped with a correct 3731548 block, Duntov 30-30 solid lifter camshaft, high compression heads, dual point distributor and correct carter carburetors with an original style bat wing air cleaner. The all new silver and black interior is correct and in show room condition. This car also features a three speed manual transmission with a column shift. Bringing up the rear is a 4:11 posi-traction rear end. The trunk is finished off with a correct spare tire and jack assembly. Every effort was taken in this frame off restoration to ensure that this is one of the finest 57 Chevy's around today.

The highlight of my week was bumping into Jimmy Ayers (from Valvoline/NHRA midway) who was there working the Pit Pal booth. I had not seen him since he was so sick a while back. Embarassing that I had not been out to his shop to see him since he live a few miles from me here in GA.
