They changed the altitude factor and the AHFS rules. Reset all those bull**** records and start from scratch.

Why bother with records at all. The new ones will be Bull**** too the way everybody will be protecting their combinations. Heads up Class runs don't even show how fast a car is unless you count 1000 foot time records too!

Question do they punish comp now for qualifying runs too? Perhaps nhra needs to move it to 1.50 under then and yet people chase the record. They make record runs a big thing for the pros so why not let the sportsman get maybe their entry money back for a record. As a spectator its fun to watch people run fast isn't that what the sport is about....performance. If your dodge and a challenger runs the quickest stock run in history isn't that something for them to advertise? Sure it isn't a street challenger but neither are the scca cars but mazda advertises their road racing heritge all the time. Giving something back to the class racers will only swell the entries and make nhra stronger.
