Aren't we all really bracket racers at most of our races most of the time

The most unsafe head start I ever saw was at Speedworld a few years back at a points meet

An Alcohol dragster that did not qualify entered the all comers bracket

He ended up racing a four door Plymouth Valiant dialed at 18.30 - he dialed 6.80 and ran 6.72

Good thing he did not swap lanes

The track lighting is not the best and the car had the required single dim taillight

No problem THAT TIME
