Default Header Paint

I am going to clean and re-paint my headers. Any suggestions as far a brand of primer (if you use a primer) and/or a heat paint that is durable?

The Hi temp coating from Eastwood works well if the surface is blasted or thoroughly sanded.
Have a street car with it on for years, and still holding up.

Nitro Plate is ceramic correct? If it is, my header manufacturer stated that he will not repair my headers if they are coated with ceramic.

One thing that seems to help is just spray lightly, thin coat of paint will stay on better.
