Transmission; Borg-Warner T-10 4-Speed

* Special Heavy-duty connecting rods
* 8-quart wide-sump oil pan
* Agressive McKellar #10 camshaft (.465" Intake lift / .465" Exhaust lift , Duration 308* Intake / *320 Exhaust)
* Solid lifters
* 1.65 Ratio Rocker-arms
* Big-port cylinder heads (Casting #540306) (w/66.8 CC Chambers)
* Activated big-valves (1.92" Intake / 1.76" Exhaust)
* Twin Carter AFB Carburetors (500 CFM)
* Aluminum dual-plane intake manifold
* Cast-iron long branch exhaust manifolds

Additional track-ready Super-Duty fare included various optional lightweight body parts.

* Aluminum front fenders

* Aluminum inner fenders
* Aluminum radiator brackers
* Aluminum exhaust manifolds

Available in 1962, was a 'special frame' that featured perimeter rails
cut out to transform rectangular tubes into channel rails.

I was just wondering but did the '62 and '63 Super Duty Pontiac's both come with 'Swiss Cheese" frames or not...or was this a one year thing only.

The information states,,,,,,,,,,

1963 = Swiss Cheese
1962 = Modified rectangular-shaped frame rails, to channel-shaped.

NHRA lists the 1962 Lightweight Catalina SD-421 at #3608 lbs., I believe.
