any reason you cant use a sensor collar on the slip yoke by the trans--- that would bypass the whole space problem at the rear pinion yoke wouldn't it???

I've often wondered why this isn't done. "I must be missing something" is what I always come up with. Hopefully someone here will tell me what that is.
