I am not knocking your statement. I know it always looks easier from a different class, but I think it will offer an opportunity for those that really have their cars figured out to show it.
A couple of years ago at Indy, I heard the same thing about the A/SA cars entered. Then Barton uncorked a killer run and showed just what was possible. He also showed that he had a superior car. I think it is much cooler to see cars really pushing it to see who is really quicker in similar cars. Some of the Opens that experience killer conditions have an opportunity to really show the other cars in their class where they stand. I am sure there are plenty of cars out there that will take advantage of it and they aren't all CJs, DPs COPOs or 350 dish piston Chevy Trucks!
I think it will be cool.
I think there will be some bruised egos from the guys that now understand their car is. .2-.3 tenths slower then some others with the same combo. Me, I am used to it so I can take it! LOL.
