no worrys tim thankyou. Toms suggested DERAIL units will work fine. they are very affordable from JEGS and have AN fittings for use with either a steel line or hyd. fittings. we're gonna' go with that.

Tom is right. You probably don't need one. However, if you are like me, I like the extra insurance. I have a radiator with an in tank transmission cooler. I like the in tank type cooler because it will put heat the trans fluid quicker because the cooler gets washed with engine water/coolant. Also, the in tank cooler is more efficient than an external air to oil cooler by about 2 degrees F. We use a braided steel line from the radiator to the transmission with Jiffy-Tite Quick Connects at the transmission. The QC's are real convenient when you have to pull the motor or transmission. No mess.
